Manager role is assigned by the Trading Unit (TU), whose main function is to deal with business operations between customers (buyers) and suppliers (sellers).

The role of the Manager: Responsible for the business dealings between buyers and sellers.

• Selling products:

  Manager can resell seller’s products to buyers. Through the catalogue; a buyer can view products and product information anytime, anywhere. Managers are also responsible for the selection of suitable products for their buyers.

• Product customization:

  A buyer can make customized request by the product customization function. Through product customization, a manager can communicate with the responsible buyers and corresponding sellers simultaneously, therefore allowing the production of better products to meet market demand. In addition, in the case of reselling products; the product customization function provides a consistent and coherent mechanism to  keep track of every movement and change from both parties, which can be easily viewed under a single window view. Using this function leads to an efficient way of keeping track of changes and interactions on all levels during customizing a particular product, which in turn leads to rapid product innovations and therefore more business opportunities.

• Order Management:

  Order Management allows the Manager to quickly grasp what is going on during the process of a business deal. As buyers place down orders and sellers are preparing the ship orders, the Order Management allows all parties to clearly establish trading conditions;  such as remarks about products, additional costs, discussions, and much more. Once a deal is accepted by both parties, the buyers will issue a formal order request. As every step is recorded in the Order Management, managers can track orders; allowing them to grasp the latest status of the order, and any historical order information that can be of assistance to the job of the manager.

• Communication management:

  Discussions of products and orders are all strung together in the system, which allows fast and easy tracking. Whether it is to explore the changes in the market or to pull-up past orders, all can be discussed through communication function. All incoming and outgoing communications are recorded and viewed in a list-display, making it more convenient for future queries and access.
